The Maltese is a very dear, pleasant, quiet, incredibly sensitive and intelligent companion dog. It is understood very playful and eager to learn fast and has a sense of humor that brings laughter to the people in every situation. It is a small anti depression dog.
Since he has no hunting instinct, he is also leading to the move easily and he may along well with other animals. Also for the treatment of children, he is by his gentle, patient, uncomplicated and sensitive nature suitable. The Maltese loves to cuddle and needs a close bond with his human family. He likes his comfort, but he also loves long walks. He does not like wet weather.
